Application to the Local Authority for Tree Works
We can act as your agent to complete an application to the local authority for tree works, either because tree surgery work may be required to improve the structural condition of an individual or group of trees, or the trees are diseased or causing damage / a threat to property.
As your agent, we provide:
All the necessary arboricultural information to complete on your behalf, the Application for Tree Works to send to the Local Planning Authority, including:
A Written Quotation
To get started, we’ll ask you a few site-specific questions about your concerns and requirements for tree work. Based on this information, we’ll send you a detailed quotation outlining the cost, scope of work, and timescale for completion.
A Site Visit
Assessment of the tree(s) in question and discussion with the tree owner on the available options for tree work.
Evidence to Support the Application
Identify the reasons for the proposed tree work, including evidence of tree disease, structural issues and/or damage to built structures.
A Detailed Site Plan
Positioning of the tree(s) on a site plan with a detailed arboricultural report, with recommendations of the proposed tree work to the required British Standard: 3998 Recommendations for Tree Work.
An Arboricultural Report
Together with site photographs we document the reasons for the proposed tree work, including evidence of disease or damage to built structures. If subsidence exists we can work alongside a structural engineer and/or a chartered surveyor to provide the necessary arboricultural information.
If required, we can supply replacement tree replanting and tree establishment plans.
Monitoring the Application
